In spite of the development of medical infrastructure under the public domain, there are still scores of people in India who are deprived of even basic medical care. We are still far behind the necessary patient-doctor ratio and the rush of qualified medical professionals to developed urban areas makes it further difficult to provide medical care to the needy. In this scenario, we felt that it is the basic duty to provide basic medical care to the poor and downtrodden. We always maintain a basic medical center with a qualified doctor and nurse in every educational institution of ours and render free of cost medical advice and care to those who are needy after the regular school working hours. This service is absolutely free of cost and can be availed by any person in need. To support this cause further, we do conduct regular medical camps at an interval of two to three months. In addition to a review of patients already registered by different specialists, we encourage the non-regulars also to avail the free of cost services of the specialists and the super-specialists. Free tests including blood tests and ECG along with free distribution of medicine are an integral part of the free medical camp.
childhood itself. Every survey conducted shows a high increase of lifestyle diseases which in turn causes severe damage to health. This situation is prevalent not only in adults but also in children. The craving for junk food and soft drinks has further deteriorated the general physical condition of the children. In today’s world, childhood obesity to juvenile diabetes has become much more prevalent than in yesteryears. The percentage of morbidity has increased many folds due to lifestyle diseases. In this program, we have engaged eminent medical professionals from different fields of paediatrics, cardiology, gastroenteritis, orthopaedics, gynaecology, haematology, endocrinology, dieticians, nutritionists, dental orthopaedic, surgeons and physiotherapists.
